Training for The Montessori Birth to Three, Assistants to Infancy, Philosophy and Practice

The text available on this website is based on the Montessori Assistants to Infancy program that began in Italy in 1947. This information is used by La Leche, Lamaze, and other groups supporting the most natural way for infants to begin life.

The"A to I" course that Susan Stephenson, the author of The Joyful Chid, took is given over two summers at The Montessori Institute (TMI) in Denver, Colorado. Here is he link: www.tmidenver.com. The director, Judi Orion, also gives courses in Australia, Japan, and occasionally in other countries. In April, 2006 she will begin a pilot AMI 0-6 course in Japan.
